Raley’s has been awarded an astounding total of 24 Telly Awards in Commercial and Online Video categories. The Telly Awards are premier awards honoring film and video productions, web commercials, videos and films, and outstanding local, regional and cable TV commercials and programs.
Raley’s was bestowed with a total of four silver awards—the highest honor possible—13 bronze and seven People’s Telly awards. Typically, only 7 to 10 percent of over 12,000 annual entries receive silver awards. Raley’s “Innovations” series received four silver, 11 bronze and six People’s Telly bronze awards. “Seasons Holiday 2013” received two bronze Tellys and a bronze People’s Telly.
“Our greatest achievement always remains bringing great products to our customers and communities,” Raley’s Vice President of Marketing and Consumer Relationships David Palmer said. “It’s incredibly rewarding to see Raley’s honored as the one of the most impactful grocers and advertisers in the country.”
The 35th Annual Telly Awards marked the first time that Raley’s had entered its advertising for recognition consideration. Raley’s was recognized in a wide variety of categories including Business-to-Consumer Campaign, Promotional/Branding Campaign, Information, Videography/Cinematography, Use of Animation and Visual Effects.
The Telly Awards are judged by members of the Silver Telly Council, all of whom are previous silver Telly award winners. Using a performance scale, judges weigh entries against a merit standard so that entries do not compete against each other. People’s Telly entries are posted to YouTube® and are rated by registered viewers over a period of four weeks.
